Truckload planner
Count pallets or big rolls, split them into truckloads, and phase deliveries to what the crew can lay in a day. It runs in this browser. The grower confirms the count, the truck size, and the delivery schedule.
Why lay it the day it arrives
Sod is perishable. AgriLife says it should not stay on the pallet or stack longer than 36 hours, less in hot weather, and performs best installed within 36 hours of harvest. Yellow or mildewed leaves when you pull pieces off the pallet mean the sod has heated; AgriLife says not to plant it. In hot weather, The Lawn Institute says to keep unlaid pallets in the shade until planting. Harvest time comes before delivery, so a load that waits a day on site has already used part of that window. Order what the crew can lay that day.

Suggested delivery schedule
Enter how much the crew can lay in a day to phase the deliveries.

Days are install days, not calendar days. Skip rain days and confirm each day's delivery with the grower; a phased plan can need more trips than one big delivery.
